Joshua joins from Spencer Stuart, where he supported private equity firms with the hiring of investment, capital raising and operations professionals. Through this work, he developed a strong understanding of investor priorities and buyer dynamics, bringing valuable insight into how businesses are positioned for investment and growth.

At Headpoint, Joshua will focus on building relationships with business owners and management teams considering strategic transactions, including sales, acquisitions, growth capital and management buy-outs. Based across the firm’s Birmingham and Reading offices, his appointment supports Headpoint’s continued focus on building direct relationships with business owners and originating high-quality opportunities across its core markets.

Joshua grew up in Reading and studied Economics at the University of Kent. Now based in Birmingham, he brings strong personal and professional connections across both the Thames Valley and Midlands markets.

His move into corporate finance reflects a desire to work more closely with businesses on growth and strategic outcomes, building on his experience advising private equity clients.
