Mark Wilson
Managing Partner
Mark has over 25 years’ experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) gained at Headpoint Advisors, ALANTRA (formerly Catalyst Corporate Finance) and Greenfield Capital Partners. During this time he has led and completed a wide range of deals and specialises in advising the founders and shareholders of private companies, particularly in advanced manufacturing, technology and the industrial and business services sectors.
In 2019 he founded Headpoint to provide expert corporate finance advice to the owners of companies considering a transaction who wish to work with an independent and specialist advisory firm. As well as managing Headpoint, Mark leads all deals, is a trusted advisor and maintains relationships with investors and decision makers at strategic buyers across the UK and all the major economies.
Originally an engineering graduate, Mark’s first job was with Siemens working on the Vanguard-class nuclear submarine manufacturing programme. His first experience of M&A came through managing post-acquisition integration projects for leading logistics companies around the world. After completing an MBA from Nyenrode Business School in the Netherlands he moved into corporate finance with PwC and has been advising privately owned businesses on company sales and acquisition projects, both in the UK and Europe, ever since.
