Founded in 2003 and headquartered in Worcestershire, Quantum is a leading provider of health and safety consultancy services to commercial organisations across the UK. The business delivers audit and advisory services for approximately 8,000 commercial properties each year, supporting clients in managing health and safety risk and maintaining compliance with a wide range of regulatory requirements. The company was founded by Mark Ball, Gordon Allan and Phil Jones, alongside investment from funds managed by Midven. 

The transaction comprised an upfront cash consideration of £4.0 million, with contingent consideration of up to £3.2 million linked to the achievement of agreed performance targets. 

For Marlowe plc, the acquisition strengthens its position within the property-related health, safety and compliance sector and enhances its ability to provide end-to-end compliance solutions to customers. 

Andy Moore advised the shareholders throughout the process, supporting them in evaluating strategic options and negotiating the sale. Following completion, the senior management team remains with the business, ensuring continuity and supporting its next phase of development under new ownership.
