Diagnostic World, based in Birmingham, is a leading provider of ultrasound scanning services. The business was founded by Jon Leonard, with Peter Dines later joining the board as an investor. The transaction represents a significant milestone in the development of community-based ultrasound services across the UK.
TICCS provides rehabilitation triage and treatment services to more than 50,000 patients each year through a nationwide network of physiotherapists, osteopaths, chiropractors and psychologists. The group also operates Physioworld, a national provider of physiotherapy and rehabilitation services with over 150 clinics across the UK.
The partnership brings together two highly complementary businesses and will enable Diagnostic World to accelerate its growth and strengthen its position as a leading provider of community ultrasound services in England, while maintaining a continued focus on quality and patient outcomes.
Jon Leonard will continue in his role as Managing Director following the transaction.
This transaction represents a significant milestone in the development of ultrasound services which will benefit patients across the UK. There are clear synergies between the two businesses and joining forces with TICCS will bring significant benefits to both businesses.
