Founded over 50 years ago and headquartered in Tamworth, Apollo Chemicals was a second-generation, family-owned business supplying specialist products to customers across the industrial and construction sectors. The business had built a strong reputation for technical expertise, innovation and customer service, underpinned by long-standing customer relationships and a highly experienced management team.
The transaction represented a strategic acquisition for H.B. Fuller, enhancing its global product offering and strengthening its presence in specialist polyurethane technologies. For Apollo, the sale provided access to the scale, international reach and resources of a global group, while ensuring continuity for employees, customers and stakeholders.
