Richard brings extensive mid-market M&A experience to Headpoint, having spent 12 years at Catalyst Corporate Finance and Alantra, where he advised on a wide range of transactions across the industrials sector. His focus areas include aerospace, defence, and energy transition, with deal values up to £250 million.
He began his career at PwC, qualifying as a chartered accountant before transitioning into corporate finance. Notable transactions include the divestment of Carr’s Group plc’s engineering division, multiple divestments from Doncasters, and the sale of Silicone Engineering to US-based Rogers Corporation. Richard is known for his strategic insight and rigorous process management. He is passionate about working with founder-led and privately owned businesses, applying his experience to deliver high-quality outcomes in the regional market.
