Advised the founder and Chairman, Derek Cooper and other shareholders of Avondale Holdings on the refinancing of their debt facilities with HSBC Bank and subsequent sale to NPL Group.
Avondale Holdings Limited is a leading waste treatment business, with operations in non-hazardous and hazardous landfill, material recycling and RDF production, soil treatment and landfill gas-to-energy (GTE) generation.
The Group has been processing waste since 2000 and is widely recognised by local councils and SEPA as being at the forefront of municipal waste treatment in Scotland. Located on a 262 acre site immediately adjacent to the M9 motorway, Avondale is situated within 30 miles of c.1.2m tpa of municipal waste.
